Special Issue – Daytona 500

Things I learned at the race:

1. Daytona International Speedway is one big place.
2. No one standing in the rain after the race waiting on the parking lot buses was upset that NASCAR called the race so soon. It was raining! And kept raining most of the night.
3. Jr has his worst day as a driver – missed his pit altogether, pitted on the line, and then was the cause of the big one.
4. The Earnhardt Tower is way up there!
5. When people get blood in their alcohol system, they act funny.
6. The economy isn’t that bad. The place was full and people were buying stuff all over the place.
